Two Year 6 students were walking along Whitehall Road, when a white transit van [with a trailer] approached them and asked them to get into the van.

Description: white male, early 20’s, blonde hair and “scruffy” appearance.

Police have been informed.

On Friday 7 June 2019, at approximately 3.40pm, a parent and her child were near Summerhill Primary School when a black car pulled up. The male driver asked if she wanted an umbrella as it was raining. The parent and child walked on and he followed in the car. The man said he would give them a lift: the parent refused and the man then drove off.

The police have been informed.

Location: Spon Lane and Boulton Road, West Bromwich

On Tuesday 21 May 2019 a parent was walking with her child along Spon Lane and Boulton Road, West Bromwich when a man started to follow. He continued to follow them to the pedestrian crossing on Trinity Road. The parent met a friend across the road and the man walked away in the opposite direction towards the church.

Description: Asian male, aged 30 to 40, around 6ft tall, well-built and wearing dark navy jeans, black jacket a brown cap.

The parent has reported the incident to the police.

Date of incident: Tuesday 14 May 2019

Location: Old Park Road, Wednesbury

A parent has reported seeing a man standing outside the school gates on Old Park Road on Tuesday 14 May. The man did not collect anyone, got in his car and drove up and down Old Park Road, stopping and starting, and then quickly drove away. The parent thought this was strange so followed the car. The car drove slowly past Wood Green Junior School, then off towards Walsall.

The parent has reported the incident to the police.

An incident occurred yesterday, 15 May 2019. A pupil has reported being followed by a man in his forties, from the park on Gads Lane, West Bromwich. The incident occurred between 8.15am and 8.30am.

The police have been informed.

2. Reported by Ferndale Primary School on Thursday 16 May 2019 am

A parent has reported that on Sunday 12 May 2019, at around 11.30am, as his two children (aged 6 and 7) were walking up Hamstead Road ahead of him, a white transit van pulled over towards the children. When the parent shouted to the children the van drove off. There were at least two people in the van.

A Year 8 student has reported that on Monday 4 March 2019, at approximately 3.20pm, a man started to walk behind him along the Wood Green Road, Wednesbury and continued to follow him for the entire walk home.
Description: white male, early 30’s, wearing baggy clothes, dark blue/black hoodie with hood up.

Alert: report of an incident in the Tividale area

Date and time: Monday 21 January 2019 at 4.10pm
It has been reported that a male, driving a white van, stopped outside the Nisa Shop on Regent Road and approached a Year 7 student. He said “come with me, I will take you home”.
A Year 11 student intervened and told the man to go away.
